Witcher boss vows to fix fan issues in season 3

The witcher spoilers follow.

The witcher Boss Lauren Schmidt Hissrich has addressed one of the most debated plot points of the new season, ensuring fans will get answers in due course.

The new installment sees the return of titular monster slaying protagonist Geralt of Rivia (Henry Cavill), along with Princess Ciri (Freya Allan) and wizard Yennefer (Anya Chalotra).

After the series released on Netflix, showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich took to Twitter to tackle some of her hottest issues. In particular, many were upset that this second chapter differs significantly from the source material, Andrzej Sapkowski’s series of books.

Parting with the Books, Season Two of The witcher includes the death of Geralt’s friend Eskel (Basil Eidenbenz).

While the character of the witcher was described as more charming in the first season, in this new installment, Eskel appears to be different – and fans haven’t failed to notice that.

Responding to early reactions, Hissrich said she couldn’t “stay away” from fan opinions and would do a post-holiday question-and-answer session to answer questions in detail.

She also announced that fans will know more about Eskel’s death and the relationship between Geralt, Yennefer and Ciri for another season.
